| For the past seven years Jane has spent
part of the week teaching music to pupils of varying ages and experience.
She mainly teaches piano, although some lessons are also available in folk
guitar. Sessions usually last for half an hour, although longer lessons are
available on request. Most lessons take place at Grindon Hall School in
Sunderland and Bill Quay School in Gateshead, but some private lessons are
also provided on Tuesday evenings at pupils’ homes. A wide variety of styles
is taught, taking into account pupils’ own preferred tastes, and pupils are
encouraged to work towards ABRSM examinations in piano, although this is not
compulsory! |
